This is where Sherman and Marni spend most of their time.

Just a Quick Sauerkraut Test… back and forth and back and forth.

This was a study I did trying to relate pencil tests to a simple photoshop animation. When I have time (Ha Ha) I’d like to do more of these little animations. They really help you understand weight, timing, balance, body language and the overall character personality.

The modern group photo.

This is a frame from the original strip that ran in the Rutgers’ Daily Targum.
“If you’re part of the solution then you’re not part of the problem Sauerkraut, and that’s just no fun.”
It’s one of my favorite lines that George has written.

10 – 30 – 01 (Marni without a helmet)

This is one of the first portraits of Solaris. He’s evolved a bit, but he’s still the same old cartoon rat.

This was the first site’s “Under Construction” art. Paul Kramm was the guy responsible for getting the web all together and online. The night he posted this picture up I think I went to it at least 30 times simply amazed to see my art on the web.

Even from the beginning they were all class. This one happens to be my mom’s favorite.

So here they are, the very first picture of Schoolhouse Daze. Yes… Sauerkraut was a quadruped. (My father has since asked me to keep Sauerkraut a quadruped but I think he has more potential as a biped. Sorry dad.)
